The Spring Days of Arts in Varna is an annual cultural event, usually held in March and April. Established in 2014, the festival marks the beginning of the city’s active cultural season and, over the course of nearly a month, offers a rich and diverse program that introduces audiences to the variety of contemporary art and the creative potential of Bulgaria’s maritime capital.
The main mission of the event is to discover and present both established and emerging artists from various artistic fields, with a focus on Varna-based creators who have gained national and international recognition. The program also traditionally features talented students from the National School of Arts “Dobri Hristov” and the High School of Humanities and Arts “Konstantin Preslavski”, fostering continuity between generations and supporting the development of young talent.
The program spans a wide range of genres-classical and jazz music, folklore, ethno, pop and rock projects, choral art, exhibitions of painting and photography, theatre, contemporary dance, literature, and cinema. In recent years, the Salon of Arts has also established itself as a platform for premiere performances and new artistic ideas.
The events take place at various cultural venues across the city, such as the "Boris Georgiev" City Art Gallery, Radio Varna Art Salon, and Yunashki Salon.
The event is open to a wide audience, often with free admission, and is intended for all lovers of the arts.
