This award attests to the quality of seawater, cleanliness, compliance with environmental standards, safety, and services provided, as well as efforts in nature protection along the coastal area. The "Blue Flag" campaign, spanning nearly 50 countries worldwide, commenced in 1987 under the initiative of the Foundation for Environmental Education and the European Commission.
Access by car is limited, however guests have the option to park nearby within the resort area. An additional parking facility is available in the upper part of the complex in the Green Zone, subject to an extra charge. Visitors from the city of Varna can reach Sunny Day Beach using the convenient public transport services - bus lines 9, 109, and 409 provide easy access to the "Strandja" bus stop, located in close proximity to the resort`s entrance.
